Vanguard University's academic structure is organized by different schools of study. Thirty-four traditional undergraduate majors, four adult education undergraduate degrees, and seven graduate degrees are housed within the following schools:
Within the Schools of Business, Religion, Psychology, and Education, graduate degrees are also offered. The School for Professional Studies offers adult learners degrees in business, nursing, psychology, and religion, as well as a minor in liberal studies and general education courses. Aside from taking classes in their own major, students in the traditional undergraduate program are also required to take classes that are part of the core curriculum.
